malc was born in the late nineties, spearheaded by two graphic designers—Massimiliano Acerra and Lorena Canulli.

“We chose to become freelancers after some years of work and experience with several advertising agencies,” they say. During these years, they had been developing a deep interest in visual arts, which led them to research the field of video and sound art.

“Everything we shoot is simply our native environment: the people we love and the places where we live. Sometimes we create a situation or fix our experience memories, other times we like to explore our dreams in filming. We found a way to generate emotions using technology.”
