December
1 — 31, 2005 / Zsolt Keserue, “Conform”
The tenth & final video in the Performing Video series.

In “Conform,”
Zsolt Keserue adopts the look and feel of low-budget television
advertising, tapping into the fears, frustrations and wants of
the average person to pitch a consumer product. Staged like a
late-night infomercial, the video seems just as real as watching
the news or COPS.

Philip Eddolls,
“Wat a wonderful day”

Wat a
Wonderful Day is an animated tale of a rabbit lying on a
grassy green hill. Eddolls explores the absurdity often found
in tales aimed at the very young, but adds a macabre twist. In
this case, the rabbit becomes convinced of his own omnipotent
powers and sets out to destroy what he sees.
Philip
Eddolls has a BFA from Ontario College of Art and Design.
His award-winning animations have been featured in numerous festivals.
